CALLING ALL MUSICAL TALENT!

If you have a hidden talent that isnt currently being
used for the glory of the Lord, please let us know. Our choir director, Lisa Harrier, is
putting together small groups and special music in lieu of a formal choir. We will still be
singing for the holidays and special services, but it will be on a much more lenient
rehearsal schedule. So, if you were thinking of joining before, but your schedule was
difficult to juggle on Thursday nights, perhaps we can include you in a small group. If
you play an instrument and want to share your gift but are too shy to play alone, we can
add you into a small group. We just want to Praise the Lord in Song!

The Deacons are excited to share their second project this Fall….the Foster Love Project. With more than 15,000 children in foster care in Pennsylvania, children are transitioned into new homes with only a few items thrown in a trash bag. Foster parents have very little notice to provide the basic necessities before a child is placed in their home. The Foster Love Project Annual Bag Drive was created to fill this need. Through the collection of transition bags, they ensure children entering foster care are provided with a bag of new belongings.

If you would like to join the Deacons and “build a bag” for an infant, child, or teen, we will be available in the lobby following the worship service with information on how you can build a bag or pair up with a friend. Please return completed bags to the church by December 5th

We are also accepting financial donations which we will use to purchase items to fill a bag. If you wish to donate, please make checks payable to Lebanon Presbyterian Church and add “Foster Love” to the memo line. Please place your donation in the offering plate or return to the church office.
