2 See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The Lord God is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.”
How easy or difficult is it to recognize the presence and mercy of God in the midst of hardship and tribulation? Too often when we are in trouble, especially trouble of our own doing, we are only focused on what we are doing at the moment, rather than looking for the deeper meaning of what is going on. God gives us protection regardless, but he question is do we understand and find our relief in God, through Christ. When we try to outrun or defend ourselves against the forces of the world, we often find ourselves immediately or eventually overwhelmed. However, if we put our trust in God and set or fear aside, then we can recognize that we have already achieve the victory that comes through Christ. Let that be our focus and understanding each and every day. Peace and Blessings!
