Psalm 150:6 (NLT)
6 Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord! Praise the Lord!
For those of you who do not like poetry, we have come to the end of the psalms. As much as I might not like modern poetry or classical poetry, or virtually any type of poetry, I do like the psalms, and this one in particular. This is the last verse of the last psalm, and it speaks to the reality of all things, that everything that breathes shall praise the Lord at the end of all things. As much as Satan and the demonic forces might hate God in Christ, we hear them declare the reality of who Christ is, and acknowledge his power over them. I believe that nature and all creatures great and small praise the Lord, so all that is left is for all humanity. As the prophet Job tells us, I know that my Redeemer lives, and one day he will stand upon the earth. This reality is what we look forward to, even in these uncertain times. No matter what happens, let us continue to praise the Lord all the earth. Peace and Blessings!
